Backtest Strategy
You can backtest your strategy by using this feature and checking its accuracy for the current market. Backtesting means testing a trading strategy on past data to assess its accuracy, without actually investing money.
In the below section, you can apply the filters through which you want to backtest your strategy. You can filter the strategies on the basis of capital, quantity, start date, end date, and whether it was an intra-day trade or a delivery trade. Click on submit and you will get your results.
The backtesting results will be shown in three ways, Statistics, Log info, and the Equity curve.
-
The Statistics
Statistics show the numerical data of the strategy. These include the net profit and loss, averages, exposures, etc.
-
Log info
Log info shows the previous trades done through this strategy and their performance in the market via details like trade size, entry and exit date, entry and exit price, exit note, points, trade type, point PCT, and trade PNL.
-
The Equity curve
The Equity curve shows you the change in the value of a strategy over a period of time. It is shown via the Profit and Loss Curve (PnL Curve).
